Straighten Your Smile Discreetly With Invisalign®

Invisible bracesWhile trendy fashions come and go, one thing is always in style: a straight and beautiful smile. If you have gapped, crooked or crowded teeth and feel too self-conscious to smile, we have a fantastic solution—Invisalign! Used worldwide, this aligner system is practically invisible so you can straighten your smile inconspicuously.

Discover Its Many Benefits

Unlike traditional metal braces, Invisalign boasts an array of outstanding features:

  • Can be removed for social events or job interviews
  • Comfortable to wear
  • Unnoticeable
  • Allows you to eat what you want
  • Reduced treatment times
  • You can brush and floss as usual

What Does the Process Involve?

First, you will need to schedule a consultation with a team member here at Wardell Dental Clinic. We’ll discuss whether you are an ideal candidate for Invisalign treatment. Your jaw, teeth and general level of oral health will be evaluated. If we determine that you need other dental treatment first, we’ll complete that before starting Invisalign.

Then, we will take scans and gather other information that will be used to fabricate your aligners. This data is forwarded to the Invisalign laboratory so your custom aligners can be created. When they’re sent back, you’ll return to pick them up. You then just need to wear the aligners, switching them out at regular intervals. To assess your progress, you’ll have periodic checkups (about every 6-8 weeks) with us. We want to ensure that we’re seeing the desired improvement.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does Invisalign treatment take?

Invisalign treatment times are typically shorter than with conventional metal braces. On average, it takes 12-18 months to complete though it could be longer depending on the complexity of your case.

How many hours a day are the aligners worn?

To achieve optimal results, you must wear your aligners for 22 hours a day. You can take them out for meals, to brush and floss or before a social event.

How do I keep my aligners clean?

You can clean them with your toothbrush. So the aligners don’t get stained, we recommend that you brush your teeth after each meal before putting your aligners back in.
